The top performers on the MDAX were Varta AG (DE:) which rose 6.51% to 78.500, Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 4.85% to settle at 25.520 and Commerzbank AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 3.77% to close at 5.425.
The worst performers were Grand City Properties SA (DE:) which was down 0.86% to 23.00 in late trade, Deutsche Wohnen AG (DE:) which lost 0.79% to settle at 37.870 and Freenet AG NA (DE:) which was down 0.74% to 19.445 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Varta AG (DE:) which rose 6.51% to 78.500, Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 4.85% to settle at 25.520 and Wirecard AG (DE:) which gained 4.26% to close at 138.150.
The worst performers were New Work SE (DE:) which was down 2.88% to 303.00 in late trade, Freenet AG NA (DE:) which lost 0.74% to settle at 19.445 and Qiagen NV (DE:) which was down 0.65% to 30.450 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 532 to 146 and 107 ended unchanged.
Shares in Linde PLC (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 3.46% or 6.450 to 192.600.
