The best performers of the session on the were SAP SE (DE:), which rose 1.85% or 2.180 points to trade at 120.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:) added 1.66% or 1.020 points to end at 62.300 and Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:) was up 1.66% or 0.230 points to 14.060 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:), which fell 1.85% or 0.153 points to trade at 8.131 at the close. Covestro AG (DE:) declined 1.13% or 0.430 points to end at 37.720 and Continental AG O.N. (DE:) was down 0.62% or 0.64 points to 102.30.
The top performers on the MDAX were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:) which rose 3.51% to 218.000, Bechtle AG (DE:) which was up 2.83% to settle at 134.400 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 2.76% to close at 63.250.
The worst performers were Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was down 5.64% to 37.620 in late trade, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 5.31% to settle at 10.572 and Siemens Healthineers AG (DE:) which was down 4.71% to 40.48 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were New Work SE (DE:) which rose 5.76% to 312.00, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:) which was up 3.51% to settle at 218.000 and Bechtle AG (DE:) which gained 2.83% to close at 134.400.
The worst performers were Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was down 5.64% to 37.620 in late trade, Siemens Healthineers AG (DE:) which lost 4.71% to settle at 40.48 and Varta AG (DE:) which was down 4.16% to 73.700 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 389 to 286 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Covestro AG (DE:) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.13% or 0.430 to 37.720.

EUR/USD was down 0.27% to 1.1062, while EUR/GBP rose 1.27% to 0.8506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 97.625.
