The worst performers of the session were Worleyparsons Ltd (ASX:), which fell 8.46% or 1.29 points to trade at 13.95 at the close. Oil Search Ltd (ASX:) declined 6.91% or 0.500 points to end at 6.740 and Idp Education Ltd (ASX:) was down 6.70% or 1.19 points to 16.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 1023 to 248 and 250 ended unchanged.
