Just Eat PLC said Tuesday that it has agreed to establish a food-delivery partnership with McDonald’s Corp. in the U.K. and Ireland, and that it expects results for 2019 to be in line with forecasts.
The U.K. food-delivery group JE, -1.16% , which is in the process of merging with Dutch peer Takeaway.com NV TKWY, -0.83%, said it will become the second delivery partner for McDonald’s MCD, -0.90% in the U.K. and Ireland. The partnership follows the rollout of Just Eat’s delivery services and will be implemented in 2020, the U.K. company said.
Just Eat said it expects to report underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of around 200 million pounds ($261.3 million) on revenue of around GBP1.0 billion, in line with its expectations. Orders in the U.K. grew 8% last year, the company said.
