The Dow Jones Industrial Average () rose 70.30 points, or 0.24%, at the open to 29,230.39. The S&P 500 () opened higher by 7.56 points, or 0.23%, at 3,333.10. The Nasdaq Composite () gained 43.73 points, or 0.47%, to 9,446.21 at the opening bell.
