At the close in Paris, the declined 0.14%, while the index declined 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the were L’Oreal SA (PA:), which rose 2.12% or 5.60 points to trade at 269.40 at the close. Meanwhile, EssilorLuxottica SA (PA:) added 1.61% or 2.25 points to end at 142.10 and Danone SA (PA:) was up 1.46% or 1.04 points to 72.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which fell 3.03% or 0.458 points to trade at 14.676 at the close. Peugeot SA (PA:) declined 2.63% or 0.54 points to end at 19.96 and Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin SCA (PA:) was down 2.34% or 2.60 points to 108.30.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Ipsen SA (PA:) which rose 6.50% to 81.15, Eurazeo (PA:) which was up 4.50% to settle at 61.55 and Ipsos (PA:) which gained 4.24% to close at 30.75.
The worst performers were SEB SA (PA:) which was down 3.10% to 131.40 in late trade, ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) which lost 3.03% to settle at 14.676 and Peugeot SA (PA:) which was down 2.63% to 19.96 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 325 to 240 and 98 ended unchanged.
Shares in L’Oreal SA (PA:) rose to all time highs; rising 2.12% or 5.60 to 269.40. Shares in EssilorLuxottica SA (PA:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.61% or 2.25 to 142.10. Shares in Ipsos (PA:) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.24% or 1.25 to 30.75.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.64% or 9.95 to $1554.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.38% or 0.22 to hit $58.01 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.47% or 0.30 to trade at $64.19 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.27% to 1.1158, while EUR/GBP rose 0.18% to 0.8561.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.910.
