The worst performers of the session were Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (T:), which fell 5.93% or 105.0 points to trade at 1665.0 at the close. Tokyu Fudosan (T:) declined 4.11% or 31.0 points to end at 724.0 and Tosoh Corp. (T:) was down 4.07% or 69.0 points to 1628.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 3239 to 449 and 105 ended unchanged.
