At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:), which rose 9.88% or 2.85 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:) added 7.24% or 1.66 points to end at 24.60 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:) was up 6.27% or 0.94 points to 15.94 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:), which fell 5.75% or 1.51 points to trade at 24.74 at the close. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:) declined 2.24% or 0.65 points to end at 28.35 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:) was down 1.86% or 0.34 points to 17.96.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 58 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 7.24% or 1.66 to 24.60.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.36% or 0.22 to $61.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.36% or 0.24 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 7.75 to trade at $1512.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.07% to 4.1634, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.200.
