At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.12% or 3.5 points to trade at 168.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TASE:) added 2.07% or 57 points to end at 2815 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.91% or 65 points to 3476 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TASE:), which fell 2.07% or 460 points to trade at 21800 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:) declined 0.91% or 100 points to end at 10900 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.89% or 23 points to 2563.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 163 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.76% or 0.46 to $60.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.04% or 0.69 to hit $67.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 15.95 to trade at $1504.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.05% to 3.4741, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 3.8517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 97.250.
