Meanwhile, Hub24 Ltd (ASX:) added 3.25% or 0.350 points to end at 11.130 and Cimic Group Ltd (ASX:) was up 3.16% or 1.060 points to 34.600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jumbo Interactive Ltd (ASX:), which fell 14.50% or 2.670 points to trade at 15.740 at the close. Galaxy Resources Ltd (ASX:) declined 4.84% or 0.045 points to end at 0.885 and Lend Lease Group (ASX:) was down 4.56% or 0.860 points to 18.020.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 557 to 541 and 339 ended unchanged.
