At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.46% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Anb Insurance (SE:), which rose 9.98% or 1.86 points to trade at 20.50 at the close. Meanwhile, United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:) added 5.90% or 0.49 points to end at 8.80 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:) was up 5.35% or 1.08 points to 21.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Aramco (SE:), which fell 3.27% or 1.20 points to trade at 35.50 at the close. BANK ALBILAD (SE:) declined 3.09% or 0.85 points to end at 26.65 and Umm Al-Qura (SE:) was down 2.04% or 0.44 points to 21.14.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 58 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.16% or 0.10 to $60.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.33% or 0.22 to hit $66.39 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.35 to trade at $1480.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 4.1694, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 96.990.
