The worst performers were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:) which was down 1.98% to 13.8350 in late trade, RTL Group SA (DE:) which lost 1.63% to settle at 43.540 and Brenntag AG (DE:) which was down 1.61% to 49.020 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (DE:) which rose 2.39% to 115.600, Software AG (DE:) which was up 1.74% to settle at 32.200 and Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 1.32% to close at 23.100.
The worst performers were RIB Software AG Na (DE:) which was down 4.43% to 22.000 in late trade, Medigene NA O.N. (DE:) which lost 4.22% to settle at 4.262 and SAP SE (DE:) which was down 3.34% to 120.560 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 408 to 262 and 87 ended unchanged.
