Meanwhile, Vonovia SE (DE:) added 0.79% or 0.37 points to end at 46.93 and Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:) was up 0.48% or 0.240 points to 49.795 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wirecard AG (DE:), which fell 4.56% or 5.200 points to trade at 108.850 at the close. Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:) declined 2.23% or 0.375 points to end at 16.475 and MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.36% or 3.60 points to 261.20.
The top performers on the MDAX were K+S AG NA O.N. (DE:) which rose 4.14% to 10.805, Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was up 1.60% to settle at 45.000 and Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref (DE:) which gained 1.46% to close at 40.420.
The worst performers were Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (DE:) which was down 2.85% to 2.696 in late trade, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co (DE:) which lost 2.81% to settle at 47.68 and United Internet AG NA (DE:) which was down 2.52% to 29.350 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) which rose 2.50% to 16.40, SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) which was up 1.83% to settle at 32.300 and Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which gained 1.60% to close at 45.0000.
The worst performers were Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:) which was down 5.38% to 151.40 in late trade, Wirecard AG (DE:) which lost 4.56% to settle at 108.850 and Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (DE:) which was down 2.85% to 2.696 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 405 to 263 and 83 ended unchanged.
Shares in SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.50% or 0.40 to 16.40.
