At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.35% or 256 points to trade at 7896 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) added 3.03% or 16 points to end at 561 and Shufersal (TASE:) was up 2.25% or 49 points to 2230 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:), which fell 1.79% or 51 points to trade at 2795 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.81% or 220 points to end at 26910 and Delek Group (TASE:) was down 0.72% or 330 points to 45800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 223 to 162 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 4.44% or 2.49 to $58.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 4.31% or 2.62 to hit $63.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.75 to trade at $1479.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.4727, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 3.8465.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 97.585.
