At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.12% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.06% or 62 points to trade at 2091 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) added 2.99% or 152 points to end at 5240 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.81% or 43.0 points to 1575.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shufersal (TASE:), which fell 4.58% or 110 points to trade at 2290 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.16% or 116 points to end at 3557 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.52% or 1400 points to 54100.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 207 to 190 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shufersal (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.58% or 110 to 2290. Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) rose to all time highs; rising 2.99% or 152 to 5240.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.34% or 0.78 to $57.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.09% or 0.69 to hit $62.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 5.45 to trade at $1461.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.4690, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 3.8169.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 98.315.
