At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.27% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 7.28% or 256 points to trade at 3772 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) added 3.56% or 930 points to end at 27040 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.17% or 1750 points to 57000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.37% or 9.9 points to trade at 284.1 at the close. Shufersal (TASE:) declined 1.47% or 35 points to end at 2351 and Poalim (TASE:) was down 1.45% or 40 points to 2720.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 166 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $57.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $62.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.75 to trade at $1464.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.06% to 3.4664, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.8171.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 98.232.
