The best performers of the session on the were A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX:), which rose 11.23% or 1.350 points to trade at 13.370 at the close. Meanwhile, Chorus Ltd (ASX:) added 6.91% or 0.340 points to end at 5.260 and Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX:) was up 5.08% or 0.015 points to 0.310 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wisetech Global Ltd (ASX:), which fell 7.69% or 2.220 points to trade at 26.650 at the close. Technology One Ltd (ASX:) declined 4.62% or 0.380 points to end at 7.850 and Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX:) was down 3.46% or 1.070 points to 29.840.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 606 to 539 and 345 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.07% or 1.10 to $1473.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.33% or 0.19 to hit $56.95 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.13% or 0.08 to trade at $62.36 a barrel.
AUD/USD was down 0.12% to 0.6800, while AUD/JPY fell 0.17% to 73.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.655.
