The worst performers of the session were Wirecard AG (DE:), which fell 3.53% or 4.250 points to trade at 116.050 at the close. Allianz SE VNA O.N. (DE:) declined 2.71% or 6.10 points to end at 219.00 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 2.45% or 0.474 points to 18.836.
The top performers on the MDAX were Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (DE:) which rose 2.76% to 13.01, Freenet AG NA (DE:) which was up 2.48% to settle at 21.4900 and Software AG (DE:) which gained 1.96% to close at 30.140.
The worst performers were Rheinmetall AG (DE:) which was down 6.93% to 104.750 in late trade, Leoni AG (DE:) which lost 4.13% to settle at 12.665 and Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO (DE:) which was down 3.51% to 23.620 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) which rose 9.34% to 29.040, Freenet AG NA (DE:) which was up 2.48% to settle at 21.490 and Software AG (DE:) which gained 1.96% to close at 30.140.
The worst performers were New Work SE (DE:) which was down 3.74% to 270.00 in late trade, Wirecard AG (DE:) which lost 3.53% to settle at 116.050 and Siltronic AG (DE:) which was down 2.80% to 84.800 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 392 to 276 and 90 ended unchanged.
