At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.09% to hit a new 52-week high, while the index lost 0.15%, and the index climbed 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the were Wirecard AG (DE:), which rose 3.03% or 3.600 points to trade at 122.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Continental AG O.N. (DE:) added 2.13% or 2.72 points to end at 130.26 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) was up 1.74% or 0.320 points to 18.678 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:), which fell 2.73% or 0.750 points to trade at 26.750 at the close. Vonovia SE (DE:) declined 2.44% or 1.17 points to end at 46.75 and MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.80% or 4.30 points to 235.10.
The top performers on the MDAX were Leoni AG (DE:) which rose 12.53% to 13.520, Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was up 4.04% to settle at 43.990 and Evonik Industries AG (DE:) which gained 3.83% to close at 25.200.
The worst performers were Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 5.85% to 19.725 in late trade, Hochtief AG (DE:) which lost 3.22% to settle at 111.10 and Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.75% to 98.9000 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which rose 4.04% to 43.9900, S&T AG (DE:) which was up 3.35% to settle at 20.34 and Wirecard AG (DE:) which gained 3.03% to close at 122.500.
The worst performers were Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 5.85% to 19.725 in late trade, Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 2.75% to settle at 98.900 and CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 1.65% to 56.550 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 408 to 271 and 79 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.53% to 13.98.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.74% or 26.35 to $1484.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.97% or 0.55 to hit $57.09 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.98% or 0.61 to trade at $62.74 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.48% to 1.1073, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8596.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 97.745.
