French IT services company Atos SE said Thursday that it would acquire Germany’s X-Perion Consulting and reported that third-quarter revenue fell, partly due to the deconsolidation of some activities.
The acquisition of X-Perion will complement the portfolio of Energy4U GmbH, an Atos ATO, -2.36% subsidiary focused on the energy market, the company said. X-Perion is a German IT consulting company that specializes in SAP applications for the energy sector, Atos said.
Atos reported revenue of 2.77 billion euros ($3.08 billion), down 4.0% on a reported basis, but up 1.8% on an organic basis. The difference is related to the deconsolidation of Worldline, the acquistion of Syntel and the disposal of other activities.
Atos confirmed its 2019 targets, which include organic revenue growth of 1% to 2% and an operating margin of around 10.5% of revenue.
