The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:), which rose 9.95% or 0.88 points to trade at 9.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:) added 9.58% or 1.00 points to end at 11.44 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:) was up 6.32% or 0.72 points to 12.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:), which fell 3.56% or 1.90 points to trade at 51.50 at the close. Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:) declined 3.27% or 0.50 points to end at 14.78 and Riyad Bank (SE:) was down 2.48% or 0.54 points to 21.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 85 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.21% or 0.65 to $53.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.53% or 0.91 to hit $58.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.50 to trade at $1495.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.1863, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 96.950.
