The best performers of the session on the were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:), which rose 5.25% or 1.06 points to trade at 21.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:) added 4.71% or 3.00 points to end at 66.70 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:) was up 3.18% or 2.20 points to 71.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:), which fell 5.67% or 1.60 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (SE:) declined 5.09% or 1.75 points to end at 32.60 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:) was down 4.96% or 3.50 points to 67.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 151 to 34 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.99% or 0.52 to $52.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.69% or 0.40 to hit $57.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 5.15 to trade at $1509.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.1139, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 98.740.
