At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.39% or 5.0 points to trade at 214.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 1.81% or 1.7 points to end at 93.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:) was up 1.50% or 3.3 points to 223.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:), which fell 0.35% or 2.20 points to trade at 626.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 111.1 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:) was up 0.09% or 0.1 points to 167.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.67% or 0.88 to $53.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.28% or 0.75 to hit $59.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 9.05 to trade at $1503.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.8023, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4691.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 98.588.
