The worst performers of the session were Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:), which fell 3.20% or 0.460 points to trade at 13.935 at the close. Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:) declined 1.40% or 0.880 points to end at 61.840 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.31% or 0.086 points to 6.480.
The top performers on the MDAX were Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which rose 5.25% to 45.740, United Internet AG NA (DE:) which was up 5.00% to settle at 33.600 and Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 4.82% to close at 20.220.
The worst performers were Commerzbank AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.28% to 4.918 in late trade, Duerr AG (DE:) which lost 2.28% to settle at 21.430 and Kion Group AG (DE:) which was down 1.44% to 45.33 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were New Work SE (DE:) which rose 5.91% to 260.00, Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 5.25% to settle at 45.740 and United Internet AG NA (DE:) which gained 5.00% to close at 33.600.
The worst performers were Jenoptik AG (DE:) which was down 1.19% to 21.540 in late trade, CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 0.92% to settle at 53.650 and Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which was down 0.10% to 10.220 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 442 to 245 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Duerr AG (DE:) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.28% or 0.500 to 21.430.
