At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.38%, while the index gained 0.21%, and the index declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:), which rose 2.10% or 0.300 points to trade at 14.580 at the close. Meanwhile, Deutsche Post AG NA O.N. (DE:) added 1.51% or 0.455 points to end at 30.645 and Covestro AG (DE:) was up 1.36% or 0.610 points to 45.400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:), which fell 2.42% or 1.065 points to trade at 42.895 at the close. Wirecard AG (DE:) declined 2.10% or 3.150 points to end at 146.750 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 0.84% or 0.058 points to 6.871.
The top performers on the MDAX were Leoni AG (DE:) which rose 5.71% to 11.575, Stroeer SE (DE:) which was up 2.95% to settle at 69.850 and Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO (DE:) which gained 2.59% to close at 19.780.
The worst performers were Hella KGaA Hueck & Co (DE:) which was down 6.26% to 41.02 in late trade, GEA Group AG (DE:) which lost 1.98% to settle at 24.770 and Bechtle AG (DE:) which was down 1.69% to 93.350 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) which rose 2.55% to 14.48, RIB Software AG Na (DE:) which was up 2.31% to settle at 21.280 and Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which gained 1.71% to close at 43.4300.
The worst performers were New Work SE (DE:) which was down 2.34% to 250.00 in late trade, Wirecard AG (DE:) which lost 2.10% to settle at 146.750 and Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which was down 1.86% to 10.000 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 398 to 291 and 72 ended unchanged.
Shares in RIB Software AG Na (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.31% or 0.480 to 21.280.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 16.08.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 2.11% or 31.75 to $1474.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.68% or 0.94 to hit $54.97 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.72% or 1.05 to trade at $59.99 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.31% to 1.0904, while EUR/GBP fell 0.30% to 0.8873.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 99.032.
